Sustainability pledge
Take the pledge and join our sustainability efforts!
Reducing event waste is good for the planet, the budget, and your organization’s reputation. This is why Trimble and the Trimble Insight Tech Conference are embracing sustainability and encouraging all our sponsors to do so as well.
With the right planning and dedication, any event can aim for zero waste. This isn't just an admirable goal—it's our business imperative. As sustainability moves from a buzzword to a core business value, if we embrace zero-waste principles we will stand out. Why does this matter? Trimble Insight is making the bold, memorable statement that we are committed to sustainability and not just talking the talk, but walking the walk. Please join us in this journey!
Additionally, reducing waste isn’t just good for the planet—it’s good for our budgets. By embracing sustainability, you can save on materials and cut down on waste disposal fees, all while enhancing your organization's green reputation. Ready to distinguish yourself and make an impact?
7 steps to make your presence at Insight more sustainable:
- Material Selection - Partner with suppliers that also embrace sustainable and eco-friendly materials for your booth construction. Opt for recycled or recyclable materials to minimize environmental impact.
- Modular Design - Consider using a modular booth that can be easily reconfigured for different booth sizes and layouts. This reduces the need for frequent replacements and allows for flexibility.
- Transportation Efficiency - Select lightweight materials that are easy to transport, reducing the carbon footprint associated with shipping.
- Resource Consciousness - Promote resource consciousness by minimizing single-use items.
- Source Locally - Opt to source decor and signage materials locally to minimize transportation-related carbon emissions. Supporting local businesses also contributes to the regional economy.
- Recycled Paper Products - choose a local printer that uses recycled paper, or prioritize digital communication whenever possible.
- Donate Leftover Items - Collaborate with the venue or local organizations to donate remaining materials and giveaways after the event. We’ll have donation bins located in the Pavilion for your convenience.
Finally, share your success and report back to us in our post-conference survey – we want to hear about your efforts! This not only validates the impact of your zero-waste efforts but also positions you as a leader in sustainable exhibiting. We’ll even provide a reward and will enter all companies who report back to us into a drawing for a deep discount on next year’s conference!
