When and where is Trimble Insight?

Trimble Insight will take place on September 27-29, 2026 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, California.


How much does it cost to attend?

Registration rates are as follows:

  • Early bird rate: $1,200 if you register between May 14 - June 16, 2026
  • Regular rate: $1,575 if you register between June 17 - September 4, 2026
  • Late registration: $1,675 if you register between September 5 - September 27, 2026
  • Day pass: $900 (Monday), $950 (Tuesday)
  • HOV Lane (Group Rate): $1,300 if you register a group of three or more people from the same company between June 17 - September 4, 2026

Can I use multiple discounts or promo codes?

No, only one discount will apply to each registration. Discount codes cannot be stacked, including group rate discounts or discounts during promotional periods.


I’ve attended Insight in the past - any major changes this year?

We’re always coming up with ways to make Insight innovative and exciting! The major changes for 2026 include:

  • "Camp Insight" Core Theme: An exciting new "Indoors Out / Outdoors In" concept, bringing a unique summer camp feel with elements like a Merit Badge program and themed morning activities.
  • New Session Formats & Stages: A revamped content lineup featuring intimate Campfire Circles for rapid-fire talks as well as plenty of opportunities for 1:1 personalized networking. New, engaging breakout formats like The Solution Room (peer-to-peer problem solving) and Lightning Talks are also being introduced.
  • Trimble is introducing an instructor-led training program — and we want to give our Insight attendees the first chance to test it out! Join us Sunday, September 26th, for our first in-person, accredited live training session, built with direction from some of our own customer super-users! This course will focus on the TMT Fleet Maintenance product and is only available for active Trimble customers.

Can I bring a guest?

You will have the option to purchase a guest pass for our Tuesday night event only. You can add the pass on when you register (or modify your registration later on) for $250. This includes food, drink and entertainment at the event, as well as transportation to and from the venue.


Are you offering group rates again this year?

If you register three or more people from the same company at the same time, each registrant will receive $100 off if they register between June 17 - September 4. Discounts do not stack.


What does my registration fee include?

  • 2.5 days of sessions, materials, networking and events. With access to over 200 educational sessions for those in the transportation industry, including shippers, there is no shortage of content available to you.
  • All meals, beverages, snacks, receptions and Tuesday evening entertainment.
  • Software labs and demonstrations, unlimited access to the Insight Lab for personalized help-desk questions and troubleshooting
  • Industry and business speakers, as well as access to the Insight Pavilion packed with more than 70 different exhibitors and partners.

If I can register but can’t attend, what is the cancellation policy?

If you request a cancellation by Tuesday, August 4, 2026, a full refund will be processed. For cancellations requested Wednesday, August 5 through Friday, September 4 a 50% refund of the paid fees will be processed. Cancellations made after September 4 will not be refunded. Attendee substitutions will be accepted until Monday, September 21, 2026.


How do I book my hotel room?

You will receive a link to book in our room block at the Marriott Marquis or the Hilton in your registration confirmation email. Please see our Hotel & Travel page for more information.


How can I pay for my registration?

Payments must be made by credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover) at the time of registration. No business invoices for attendee registrations will be issued. Please note that all funds are collected in USD.


Will transportation be provided?

Transportation will be provided to and from the Tuesday night party only. The conference venue is located at the hotel and the overflow hotel is within walking distance, so no transportation is needed. Attendees are responsible for getting to and from the hotel from the airport.


Will I receive a receipt for my registration fee?

Your confirmation email includes a link to view a receipt for your registration. If you cannot locate your confirmation email and need it to be resent, please email insightconf@trimble.com.


If I’m unable to attend, can someone attend in my place?

Yes, substitutions can be made up until Monday, September 21. To request a substitution, please email insightconf@trimble.com.


How do I modify my registration?

Click the link in your registration confirmation email to access your registration. Click on the "Modify Registration" option if you need to make changes. There is also an “Already Registered?” button on the landing page of our website where you can log in to your profile and make updates to your registration details. If you need to change your registration type (i.e. day pass to general attendee), please email insightconf@trimble.com.


When will I be able to see the detailed schedule of educational sessions offered and build my personal agenda?

You can start to build your personalized agenda as soon as you register. You will be able to filter our session offerings by category and product to ensure you are viewing sessions that most closely align with your business needs. Be sure to keep checking back for any newly added Campfire Chats!


How do I build my schedule?

Once you have registered for Insight, click "Log In" under the Registration tab at the top of the website, which will take you to your confirmation page. Click on "My Schedule" and you will be able to sort the agenda to find the sessions that interest you. Click on "Add Session" to start building your personal schedule. Once the conference app is live, you will be able to access your schedule there as well.


When will the mobile app be available?

The mobile app will be available to download about a month before the conference. You will receive an email with all the details.


Is there a dress code for the event?

Business casual is acceptable during daytime events. The venue will be air conditioned, so we recommend layering. We’re also planning to take advantage of the beautiful San Diego weather and bring some sessions outside, so don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen!

Casual clothing (jeans, sneakers) is perfectly fine for the Tuesday evening event.


Can you provide more details on the evening events?

Once again, we’re keeping Monday night open for attendees to enjoy optional evening activities provided by Trimble (for a separate fee), or to take the night to entertain clients and colleagues on their own.

Our closing party will take place on Tuesday evening at Belmont Park. Join us for an evening of boardwalk food, drinks and amusement park rides and games overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You won’t want to miss this! Transportation will be provided from and to the Marriott Marquis.


When should I plan to arrive and depart?

We’ll be offering some deep-dive sessions starting at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 27 as well as our pilot Trimble Transportation Academy session starting at 2:00 pm. You’ll want to plan to arrive by Sunday morning so you don’t miss out on this additional content.


What is the room rate?

Our contracted room rate at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina is $362 + taxes and fees. Our contracted room rate at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront is $309 + taxes and fees.


When is the deadline for booking a hotel?

Our Marriott room rate expires on Monday, September 7 and our Hilton room rate expires on Friday, September 4. You will still be able to book a room after those dates, pending availability, but it will be at the prevailing rate.


How do I modify or cancel my hotel reservation?

You may modify or cancel your reservation by using the link provided in your confirmation email up until the cutoff dates listed above. For changes made after those dates, please email insighthotel@trimble.com.

Note: Canceling your event registration does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation.


Who do I contact if I have any other hotel questions?
